To say that I love Papertrey Ink would be a total understatement. I love their products, absolutely all of them. I love their classic style, the coordination, the clean lines, the whimsy, the timelessness of everything. Everything PTI makes and then designs samples around is so beautiful that they all just make you want to buy them and try your hand at creating something beautiful too.
Here is my entry to today's Anniversary contest. I tried to make a cheery and bright card without being too busy. I really wanted to incorporate a more rainbow effect with some accents, but I felt that would compete with the enormously cute little rainbow image as my focal point. So I kept it fairly clean with some pretty layers of pop. I think the black ribbon grounds everything as well as the white doily.
So the contest today is to see who will win the chance to design a brand new stamp set with the super talented Nichole. That is quite an intimidating thought. I do have several wishes for a new stamp set though. One is for a cooking set with images like a pretty apron that you could put a few sayings or images on, cookies with maybe add on decorations, a cookie sheet, muffin pan, stand mixer, mixing bowl, spatula, whisk, etc. I am a pastry chef, and one of the things I love most to give and make are food gifts. I would love some pretty kitchen images to put on cards and coffee style bags to package up my food gifts. Some images that would fit on some of the mat stack dies but something different than the food labels from the Everyday treats but would coordinate with that.

The other stamp set I would really love to see is something for making cards for boys. I have two sons and I can never find images for cards that are not sports related or aren't totally cutesy and therefore easily outgrown. I would love to see something made that would work for toddlers to teens in the boy department. I am not even remotely sure what that would look like, but it's a wish and a need for so many of us who are paper crafters.
