3x3 Card Holder for Tapestry kit

Here is the 3x3 card holder. It is pretty basic, used some of the paper in the Secret Garden kit, some of the kit stickers, a stamped imaged from the 1st months purchases, and some of that yummy ribbon in the ribbon originals. You might be wondering why I didn't use a lot of the ribbons this month that we purchased. For the things I came up with, there wasn't much that needed that ribbon, but certainly anywhere I used the ribbon strips from the Simply Scrappin' kit, you could substitute ribbons. You could go back to previous projects from these card kits and substitute ribbons in there too.

Here are directions for the bag/tote for the cards: You will need to cut the textured artichoke cardstock into a 6 1/2 x 10 1/2 piece. Score along the 10 1/2 side at 4 1/4 from both ends. Score from one end, flip the paper around and score from other end. You'll have 2 inches in the middle between the scores. Now along the 6 1/2 inch side you will score in 1 1/2 inches from each side. As in the other box this month, you will cut in on the middle small rectangles to make a flap that will fold in when you fold the sides up. See picture for bigger box this month to see what I mean.

Cut from the river rock print from Secret Garden a 11 x 1 1/2 strip. Wheel this with the baroque border wheel and chocolate chip ink. You might want to wheel about 6 1/2 inches, reink, and finish, lining up the wheel as best you can. I went straight across and it got very faded by the time I wheeled the whole strip. Stamp your focal piece in chocolate chip ink on leftover vanilla paper scrap. Also cut out a 2 1/8 inch square piece of artichoke textured paper and round the corners. This is what the sticker square and circle are attached to. Then add the stamped piece you did.

Ribbon for handle is 9" and I cut fishtails on ends of ribbon. You can cut diagonally if you like. I attached the handle with gold brads.

The 3x3 cards and envelopes will fit in this little tote.

Thanks again to everyone who signed up for the Tapestry card kits in a box. I sincerely hope you enjoyed getting alot of use out of these stamps and accessories. You should have plenty of supplies left over to build on these things and use your own creativity.
