Designer paper ornaments
Stampin' UP! has a great new special for November where if you buy 3 packs of Designer paper you get the 4th one free. These papers are fabulous, all are double sided, and they have so many uses. Case in point, these great little ornaments.
You take 12-- 1x6 inch strips of designer paper, that you use a 3/16 hole punch to punch a hole 1/2 inch in from each end. If you use the crop o dile, you can set the guage for 1/2 inch on the hole punch, and you can also cut through all 12 pieces of paper at once.
A coordinating piece of solid cardstock to punch out a 5 point flower
A 14" piece of coordinating ribbon folded in half, knotted at top, to thread through the flower first, then the strips of paper. Bring the ribbon through the bottom hole of the paper strips and knot so that the paper is bent into a nice round shape. Fan out the pieces of paper to make a ball.
You can use the On Board trimmings chipboard with craft ink and glitter to make the snowflake to put at the bottom, The silver elastic cord makes easy work to attach this. These were so much fun to make.
I used Wintergreen and Creepy Crawly papers. Aren't these just so cute.

I love these ornaments. I was writing about ornaments made from scrapbook paper this morning and came across your blog. I hope you don't mind that I linked to you in my post. VERY BEAUTIFUL! P.S. I love the Pumpkin looking ornament, very original.
