Photo Christmas cards
Okay, so there is no photo here. That is because I don't have any photos in my house that would be usable. Yes, I am a weird one whose only photos exist on the computer in files on iPhoto instead of being in print or in scrapbooks. Ahh, the price of being a demo, mom, homeschool teacher, wife, etc. etc. No time to scrapbook and thus print those pictures. So you'll have to use your own imagination here. I have lots of friends who like to send photos for Christmas cards. Here is attempt no. 1 to find an easy card that they could do that doesn't require much in the way of stamps and supplies for them.
Specs:
real red cardstock 8 1/2 x 3 7/8.
old olive cardstock 3x5
Dashing designer paper 1 x 8 1/2 and a scrap for photo corner punch
Stamps: Star Studded season or other Christmas greeting
gold embossing powder
gold elastic cord or other gold metallic thin cording or a nice knot of non bulky gold ribbon would be nice. The cord was all I had to tie this together.
photo corner punch.
Standard sized card: real red 1/2 sheet
old olive wide grosgrain, old olive 3 3/4 x 3 1/2, Encore gold metallic ink, and stamps for background and greeting (Star studded season and In the Spotlight), and then Dashing paper scraps for photo corners, photo corner punch, and dimensionals for popping the corners up.
