Happy Graduation Envelope wrap

Here is my last entry into the challenge this week for PTI's Make It Monday.  There are a few graduates in our family and friends list this year so I made a couple of dressed up envelopes with label wraps to give to a few of them.   I made this card for a past PTI MIM challenge where we made our own confetti.  Now I get to make the envelope pop too.

Stamps: Tag It's, Star Prints, Leaf Prints, Congrats all ways
Inks and Paper colors: summer sunrise, orange zest, chocolate, new leaf, and harvest gold.
Accessories: seed packet die, leaf die, half and half die, limitless layer circles, scallop edge die, sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I hope everyone that may stop by to look at my card and envelope combos have a blessed weekend.

MIM baby card envelope wrap

I love this card and envelope combo.  I had fun with some relatively new stamps: Special delivery truck and accessories.  My chocolate chip foam ink pad is a bit juicy so the Diaper Service logo didn't turn out as crisp as I would have liked.  Oh, well.  Wanted to get these made as I will get no stamping done for the next several days.

Stamps: Wonderful words: Baby, Special Delivery
Ink and Paper colors: limeade ice, chartreuse, aqua mist, hawaiian shores, chocolate

Get Well Soon MIM envelope wrap

Here is my next entry into this week's MIM challenge.  I am really enjoying these envelope wraps.  And I got out my much neglected envelope punch board and made some coordinating envelopes for some of the cards I chose to wrap with a label.   I must admit my masking skills need a little work.  I made two mistakes with the spoon and the steam.  I forgot to cut off the top portion (rim) of the bowl before stamping.  Oh well.  I think this card and envelope will brighten someone's day anyway.

Supplies:
Stamps: Comfort food, Vegetable garden, think big favorites
Paper and ink colors: smoky shadow, grey from SU!, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Crisp Cantaloupe, chartreuse

MIM homemade wraps for envelopes

Here is entry #1 for this week's MIM challenge: make your own envelope wraps.  I love this.  Michelle Wooderson did this a couple of years ago with sticker paper, and I loved the idea of dressing up the front of an envelope.  I tend to neglect the inside and envelopes of my cards.  I barely have enough time to make a card front, much less dress up the inside and envelope.  I do need to take more time and do one or the other to give them more of a boutique feel.  I sell my cards when I make extras, and I also auction them off for charity donations and I think taking a bit more time to do the little extras might bring in a little more business.

I digress though.  I made the three cards I will be entering into the challenge this week for Mother's Day.  I totally cased the cards from my Pinterest boards last week.  They turned out beautiful.  The envelopes I made today as I felt the Mom's in my life (my own mother and Mother-in-Law) could use a little something extra special.

I used Pretty Peonies, Fillable Frames, and Simply You stamp sets.  Aqua mist, pure poppy, chartreuse and black inks.  Some prints paper and the wine bottle tag die finishes my product list.
